Thames Valley Tango Lessons – Reading
Tuesdays
Tango is fun to learn with us, and you don’t need any previous dance experience. Our lessons are very friendly and relaxed. Mastering the basics is easy, and you will enjoy learning the essential skills of Tango.
Tango is a beautiful improvised dance, and so we don’t use sequences that are hard to remember, or can’t be used at Tango dances. Instead, we teach Tango that’s easy to learn and enjoy. That’s why people like our lessons, and learn fast!
Our Tango lessons in Reading are on Tuesday evenings.
Our Tango lessons in Reading are at St Luke’s Parish Hall. It is easy to find. It has a great atmosphere and a wonderful floor that is perfect for dancing tango.
8.00 pm
Hall opens (we only have access to the Hall from 8.00pm)
8.10pm
Lesson 1 – for beginners, and anyone wishing to refresh and improve essential technique.
If you have no prior experience of dancing Argentine Tango then join these lessons on Tuesday.
It’s OK to come without booking.
9.10pm
Lesson 2 – suitable for anyone who has completed at least 3 months of beginners lessons with us, these lessons add extra concepts and techniques.
10.00pm
Lesson 3
More advanced ideas and movements for dancers with sufficient experience and ability. Please ask us before joining these lessons.
Practice time
Open to anyone to stay and practice whilst lesson 3 is happening. There’s lots of space to use, and we’re on hand to give help if you want it.
